Jesus told his disciples, “This, then, is how you should pray.” The prayer that followed expressed several concepts Jesus wanted his followers to know that are close to the heart of God. One of those is to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven” (Matt. 6:9-10). What would it look like if we really prayed for and believed for what Jesus told us to pray for?
